CIATÉ MINI MANI MONTH ADVENT CALENDAR - 13TH TO 17TH DAY OF CHRISTMAS SWATCHES

In this post, I reveal (finally! ;-)) the 13th to 17th days of Christmas from Ciaté's Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar.
For the thirteenth day, we have Ciaté Mini Paint Pot in 'Glass Slipper'.  This nail polish does not appear to be on the official Ciaté website, so I think this is another of the three that are limited and exclusive to the  Ciaté's Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar.  It's a clear nail polish with teeny specks of cobalt blue glitter.  It's a nice top coat (although I must say I hate the strong smell of it! /:-\ ).  I applied it as a top coat on my ring finger in the swatches down below.
On fourteenth day, we have Ciaté Mini Paint Pot in 'Speed Dial'.  Ciaté describe it as an orange and their photo on the website appears a yellow-based orange, however, to me it's more of a red coral.  It also has a jelly (slightly translucent) creme finish.  It applied smoothly and evenly.
"An extremely juicy orange. Wear two coats to induce a sunny smile every time you catch a glimpse of your nails."~ Ciaté UK
The fifteenth day revealed Ciaté Mini Paint Pot in 'Headliner', which is a gorgeous, super-easy to apply turquoise creme.  It reminds me of Dior's 'Saint-Tropez' nail polish from their summer 2012 collection (see swatches of it HERE).  'Headliner' was smooth and even, and I'd say opaque in a single coat.  However, I applied two coats in the swatches below for good measure. ;-)
"Turquoise, an extraordinary cocktail of blue and green and a marriage made in fashion heaven! If you love to colour clash, this is a perfect mix to your colour scheme by adding a unique blue tone to your collection."~ Ciaté UK
The sixteenth day presented me with 'Big Yellow Taxi' - a bright, creme yellow. While it's a fantastic shade for summer especially on toes, I have yet to find a yellow nail polish that truly applies smoothly and evenly without too much effort. 'Big Yellow Taxi' unfortunately did not deliver on application. :(

"A high fashion 'it' statement bold yellow with a crème finish. Brighten up your talons and toes and compliment your summer wardrobe."~ Ciaté UK
On the seventeenth day of Christmas, we have 'Power Dressing', which is another creme nail polish.  It's opaque enough in 2 coats, but still slightly translucent, so in that respect it is more of a jelly creme finish (similar to 'Speed Dial').  It applied smoothly and evenly with no problems. :)

"Rich dark blue. This colour is for the strong and powerful women in high places, let your nails do the talking."

Swatches
For reference, my skin tone is medium, olive ~NC30-35. All photographed indoors using artificial lighting and a strobe.
(L - R) On the little finger I have 2 coats of 'Power Dressing'; the ring finger has 2 coats of 'Headliner' with a single top coat of 'Glass Slipper'; on the middle finger is 2 coats of 'Speed Dial'; followed by 'Big Yellow Taxi' in 3 coats; then last but not least, 2 coats of 'Headliner' again on the thumb nail just on its own.
If you wish to see 'Glass Slipper' applied on a blue base rather than a turquoise as I have (which doesn't really do it enough justice), I recommend checking out a swatch of it on Joyluscious where it's applied beautifully on her toes using OPI's 'Unfor-Greta-bly-Blue'.
From this bunch, I enjoyed 'Headliner' the most even though it's not unique - it's still amazingly easy to apply and it's just a beautiful shade.  My second fave of the five here is 'Power Dressing' (again not unique, but I do love blue nail polish and this one was also a breeze to apply). :)

Hope this was interesting and helpful if you're considering purchasing any of these nail polishes (at least the ones that are not limited).

Thanks for visiting! ^_^ xo
