Jewelry Style: What's Ahead for 2015

It's New Year's Eve and we're all looking ahead to 2015.  What will the new year mean for jewelry style?  Here's a look at what to expect.

• Yellow gold has definitely arrived and is here to stay throughout 2015.

• Purples, pinks and reds will be prominent as lovely complements to Marsala, the Pantone Color of the Year for 2015.  In jewelry that translates to amethysts, pink tourmalines, pink sapphires, rubies and garnets.  

•  Necklaces will take the top spot in "must-have" for 2015.  Big statement necklaces and layered necklaces will reign supreme.

• Layering will continue to be the way to go for rings and bracelets, too.  Stack 'em up - the more the better - in 2015!

•  1960's and 1970's motifs are in the forecast for the new year.  Think owls, feathers, fringe, and geometric designs.
